The steps to beautiful portraits

Step 1

We will begin with a phone consultation to discuss exactly what you’re looking for and then schedule an in-person consultation at your home or in my studio to design and plan your experience. Photoshoots are not one size fits all. I take the time to plan wardrobe choices that will fit and flatter everyone in the portrait. We will discuss hair and makeup, how you wish to be photographed, and where you wish to display your portraits. This consultation will be held about 3-4 weeks before your photoshoot.

Step 2

The day has arrived! You will arrive at my studio for your photoshoot. My hair and makeup artist will pamper you with hair and makeup to make you feel amazing. I do not use makeup on children, but rather just smooth skin tone for the best results. Shoot time will vary depending on the number of people and wardrobe choices we decide on. Rest assured, you will have beautiful portraits and a variety to choose from when you return for your ordering appointment.

Step 3

This is my favorite part! Our last step is for you to return to the studio to view and order your portraits. You will have a gorgeous selection of fine art portraits to choose from. We will discuss again what size you would like to display on your walls. You will be excited to hang these portraits in your home for generations to come.

Portrait sessions start at $290 and include all of the 3 steps above. Your deposit will hold your date which we will discuss at your consultation. Images are sold separately and start at $275. Want digitals? No problem! With every purchased image, you will receive a complimentary watermarked, web size digital file to share on social media. (not suitable for printing)

Need to pay over time? Please ask about payment options.

Why Prints?

At Kelley Norcia Photography, we are in the business of creating heirloom, archival portraits that will decorate your home with love. Through my fine art editing process, I make sure that every detail is just right in your portrait, even up close and on the largest image you want to hang. Portraits are meant to be displayed, enjoyed and passed down to the next generation. They will always be a reminder of the investment you made in your family.

Photo files… you must save them to a floppy disk they said.
And so we did…. but then they stopped making floppy disks
Now you must save them to a CD or a DVD they said.
So we did… And then they stopped making CD drives
You must now save them to a USB or a Hard Drive they said.
So we did… then hard drives failed to open and the USB drive read empty
You must now upload them to the cloud they said.
So we have………………….

Meanwhile the framed heirloom print over the fireplace looks down and smiles
on us and the old albums on the bookshelf nudge each other and giggle.
